Handsome Harry is our Horse of the Month for February! The signs of Equine Cushing’s disease that Harry showed were quite common, but ones that can often be just put down to age. His owner noticed that he seemed quite depressed and not his normal self. Their vet advised a blood test for Cushing’s, and this confirmed that he did have this condition. His owner was relieved that a diagnosis had been made, and there was an explanation for his change in temperament and has been really pleased that just a short time after starting treatment Harry is so much brighter!
